Thank you for visiting my website. Here is some info about who I am.
I live in St Albans UK with my partner, and we have two young adult boys.
My initial training was informed by Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Following my initial training I have completed a Masters degree in Systemic and Family Psychotherapy at the Institute of Family Therapy (IFT) in London, and a Doctorate in Systemic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic.
I have a particular interest in using narrative ways of working in my therapy, and have completed a number of training workshops in this field, including with the late Michael White.
I continue to learn and develop in my practice through ongoing professional development, regular supervision, and through membership of a number of clinical groups and collaborations that continue to stretch and challenge me in my work, including a Narrative Development Group (where we develop our narrative therapy skills and practices, peer review contributions, offer professional support and peer supervision), a Narrative Collective (a Narrative therapy collaboration); and the Politics in Practice group (an international trans-disciplinary collaboration that aims to promote relationally connected ways of being & practices that are re-humanising).
