I am interested in research with an underlying value of social inclusion, equality and the reduction of stigma and informed by systemic and narrative therapeutic approaches. I have developed a programme of research within the field of parental mental health and family meaning-making and communication. I also have involvement in research that addresses discrimination and marginalization within training contexts, the wider profession of clinical psychology and within society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clinical Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Twenty years\u2019 experience of working as clinical psychologist and more than fifteen years\u2019 experience of working in the NHS.
\u2022 Consultant Clinical Psychologist, overseeing the work of a Parental Mental Health outreach team, and offering direct clinical work to families and young people, indirect work with multi-disciplinary teams, inter-agency work, supervision, consultation, training and teaching across services from 2005 to 2011.
\u2022 Systemically qualified up to doctorate level and practice from a systemic and narrative therapy perspective.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
